Soke Christopher Jankowiak
Events which had influence on His life:
Christopher Jankowiak was born on 12 April 1960 in the working-class family. The life did not coddle Him. He often got sick in his childhood, many times He was near to death. Since the youngest years He has been working in the scouting beginning from the youngest group of the name „Zuchy”. He went through all rungs in turn and then He became a scout- master in years 1973- 1975. In this time He linked the cooperation with commander of a Military Garrison in the Skwierzyna, colonel Kaletka and there He took first lessons of self-defence under the eye of military instructor. In the same time He focus on various sports, where he was succeed on the rung of commune, administrative district, province, and even in the macroregion. Together with His Friend Witek Chrzanowski He built a gym, and installed various elements for martial arts practice. People often see Christopher together with his Friend Witek running in white karate uniforms in nearby forests. They where ameliorate their skills which Christopher Jankowiak gets to know in the army unit. On His road Christopher comes down to boxers and there He started to get to know and practise Jiu- Jitsu. In the same time He tries His strengths in wrestling. In 1976 He meets Christopher Iwaszkiewicz, who persuades Him to take part in the Karate lessons.
In January of 1977 in Gorzów Wielkopolski under the eye of instructor Senpai Christopher Iwaszkiewicz, He exercises with passion Karate Kyokushinkai. In September 1978 He enters the military school, where He continous to practice Karate Kyokushinkai. He gets to know the new elements of the military hand-to-hand fighting. The various fighting styles and the culture of Japan inspires him. Being in one of army units, He makes many contacts with the representatives of eastern units, gaining bigger and bigger specialisation in this direction. In 1982 he gets to know experts from the Korean „Kyuksul” who introduces this combat system in The Silesian Military circle. He undertakes kick boxing trainings at coach Jerzy Dębski in 1987 .
In October 1990 He was pointed in his military unit to be the instructor of the physical education. In April 1994 He finished course for the instructors of physical education, as the instructor of the physical education in the army at The Higher school Armies Armoured, in Poznan- with a very good grade. On the request of Dai- Shihan Krzysztof Kondratowicz and Sensei Tadeusz Chodaczek in 1994 He founds Club of Japanese Martial Arts „Bushi” in Namysłów. Near the club „Bushi” in Namysłów in 1997 a branch Office of Polish Union of Instructors of Uniform Services was created. In 2003 Shihan Jankowiak founds The Association of Sport and Japanese Martial Arts „BUSHI”. Since the April 1997- 12.12.2001- He is leading trainings of the soldiers of recognition in the military hand-to-hand fighting for the needs of the boss of the Department Of Recognition and the WRE ŚOW Colonel Christopher Kajdas and the older officer in the Colonel department Zenona Popko. In this time He also leads classes for the personnel of the physical education asked by the boss of Department of Physical Culture in the Military Silesian Circle, Colonel Władysław Hryniewicz. In 1997r. and 1998r. He helps in preparation of the soldiers of The Varsovian Military circle (WOW) to championships WOW in the military hand-to-hand fighting on request of the Boss of the Department of Physical Culture WOW mjr Wiesław Świtaj and the Soke Christopher Kondratowicz. For His help in June 1998 He recieves the brown medal WOW from the boss of Department of Physical Culture of Varsovian Military Circle. In 2001 He becomes distinguished by The Silesian Circle Military commander for prominent achievements in the sport.
In the day 07 April 2001 He meets with the Master Soke Takeuchi Toshimichi on the first in the Poland Ken- Jutsu seminary (International Academy of Ken Jutsu). His friend Jacek Marchewka was the organizer of this seminar. Soke Takeuchi paid attention to the person of Shihan Jankowiak from the first meeting. From this time they joined their roads forever, from the private meetings to common trainings, until the friendship. The important event in the life of Shihan Jankowiak was the meeting in May 2001 with Soke Keido Yamaue and common training, then the meeting leaves the large trace on the road of the martial art which He follows. The Boss of the Department of Physical Culture of Silesian Military Circle distinguished Christopher Jankowiak in 2002 „for the prominent contribution in development and disseminating the martial arts in The Silesian Military circle”. In 08 April 2006 Soke Takeuchi Toshimichi brought to life the organization Ken- Jutsu –International –Bujutsu -Kan, of which Shihan Christopher Jankowiak became the President on the conclusion of Soke Takeuchi. In September 2006 Soke Takeuchi puts out the certificate for Shihan Jankowiak the President of Ken Jutsu-International-Bujutsu-Kan in Poland and granted him position Kancho. 11 June 2007 Soke Takeuchi, three days before his death, left „the certificate of the delivery of the school” relating supremacies at the school and certificate with the confirmation of the degree 9 dan for Christopher Jankowiak. In July 2007- Christopher Jankowiak undertook heavy work, the road of cultivating the tradition what Soke Takeuchi Toshimichi left.
He leads the School which He received after the death of the master Soke Takeuchi Toshimichi in which he develops passed on traditions from the Japanese family, in such traditional martial arts as: Ken-Jutsu, Kyu-Jutsu and Ju-Jutsu. Today the current name of the school is „Bu Jutsu Kai Takeuchi Ryu” in the Polish name the record: „The Traditional Arts Fight School „Bamboo Forest”.
The beginning of martial arts training of Christopher Jankowiak dates on 03.01.1973r. :

First leadership of His own classes and the beginning of the teaching of the martial arts from 1982r.- 30 years of practice (state on January 2012).
