BU JUTSU KAI

BU JUTSU KAI TAKEUCHI RYU
 I.    It is based on:
It is a complete system of martial arts which grew out of traditions of the Japanese family.
The school was founded with the thoughts of Soke Toshimichi Takeuchi, thereby creating innovative solutions from the communications of their ancestors. From the same thoughts was created a school with the direction of both hard and fast style without unnecessary movements. Soke Takeuchi said that the basis for understanding the school is understanding, “the philosophy, theory and techniques, this is various rivers, that flow into a one sea”. The school is based on three issues that make up the School of Bu Jutsu Kai Takeuchi Ryu, these are rivers that form: Ken- Jutsu, Kyu-Jutsu and Ju- Jutsu. All of this together creates a one sea, a one school. Today I can say that the three rivers - one sea, three theories - one school, it is the basis for the creation of Family Soke Takeuchi school system for all who want to explore the path.
The school has a high strength that comes from gentleness and discipline and also modesty. But you are mistaken who think that it means an insignificant Man. In the words of my master was heard that the samurai is true and natural, while training as a warrior is complete and self-sufficient for a warrior. These links form the common mechanisms that combine all the points, all the issues. This creates a combination of the three-dimensional action in space and time. And so we come to the next condition of a Samurai consisting of relaxation - relax total freedom, then, to observe - that is, inner peace, we can see all the details and third theory is very important, the state of lack of judging - not ahead of that what we have not seen and not heard.
My master Soke Toshimichi Takeuchi told me that the danger lies in our mind and the effects we want to gain. It might be well to avoid such people, because there are people who sometimes become crafty, but it does not mean “wisdom”, so you must talk about the cunning. It is then that we do not want nothing to do but we want to have it all. Soke Takeuchi often mentioned that impatience is not desirable.
The beauty which is contained in the Bu Jutsu Kai Takeuchi Ryu is a reflection of the beauty with freedom and delicacy, it is achievement of inner peace, and also achievement of the elegance of movement. Performing all with the adoration, and every movement with the irregularity, with retain of asymmetry in a clear and very balanced way. From the mouth of Soke Takeuchi I heard: “my body always calm”, when he drew my attention, showed and then said: “look, how hands are working” so it will be fine. When He wanted to emphasize something important He said: “listen, Jankowiak, now it’s serious” it meant that everything what He will say will be very important. Training in particular continuous, can often be expressed by the intuition and can reveal many secrets of winning skills. As soon as I can remember Soke Takeuchi pointed out in a significant way the sphere of the spirit and in particular the vagueness and thus the elusiveness.

 II. Today:
The school is developing from the achievements of his Teacher, who puts the main emphasis on the fight by sword of Ken- Jutsu, Ju- Jutsu, Kyu- Jutsu archery combat and body combat Ju- Jutsu. Takeuchi Master believed that the true strength of a Samurai, and confidence he drew from the sword that was for him His soul. Such a theory would lead to the conclusion that the sword in the School of Bu Jutsu Kai Takeuchi Ryu is the primary weapon, and with a bow and the body (technique) was a defender of Family, clan and Himself. Continuing sword (Japanese sword), the bow and the body was used to defend and fight with the enemy. It is a sword, a bow and body are big opportunities in the exercise of excellence and perfection of a Samurai.
On 11.6.2007 years Soke Takeuchi Toshimichi gave 9 DAN for Shihan Christopher Jankowiak (three days before his death.) And in his will, after his death he left his school and its superiority to His Uchi Deshi Kancho Christopher Jankowiak. In his will, Soke Takeuchi also mentioned masters, Sensei Kajetan Młynarski and Sensei Zbigniew Karalus. In Soke Takeuchi Toshimichi own lifetime he always said that “Honbu Dojo” his school is in Namysłów. Today the school office Bu Jutsu Kai Takeuchi Ryu is in Namysłów located between Wroclaw and Opole, today “Dojo” is called name Toshimichi Takeuchi.
Every year on the day of the funeral ceremony of Soke T. Takeuchi current head of School of Soke Christopher Jankowiak goes a long journey to his Teacher’s grave, and there performed the ceremonial meditation and subsequent training with the dead Master. And it will be like that, until old age and vital forces will not allow for such trip for Soke Jankowiak.
On 17 May 2009, held during the Festival of the Japanese Martial Arts name Takeuchi Toshimichi was read officialy to assembled people for the second time a testament with school order. After this reading Christopher Jankowiak formally took the title of Soke.
 1.    The official first and subsequent names for school were:
 a) International Academy of Ken- Jutsu,
 b) Ken Jutsu International Bujutsukan.
 In order not to lost the family name of my Master Soke Toshimichi Takeuchi and His knowledge, experience, experience of their ancestors and the messages which he left and started work of creating School, as a head of School I decided to accept the name as shown below;
 c) Bu Jutsu Kai - the first year- after that time I added at the name of school a surname of Master (Takeuchi) and of School (Ryu)
 d) Bu Jutsu Kai Takeuchi Ryu - the final name, which was left to me by my Master Soke Toshimichi Takeuchi. In Polish, I use the name “The School of Traditional Martial Arts ”Bamboo Forest”. In Japan (take- bamboo), (uchi- inside) means a bamboo house, this is a common surname in the Japan. I believe that my Master a long time ago went beyond the zone of limitation as was home. His thinking was coming out of any building known to the common man. Therefore, I believe that thinking and actions of Soke Takeuchi were inside but not the house but a great bamboo forest. That is why I used the name “bamboo forest” to emphasize the validity of his actions for the development of martial arts and traditions of the Japanese in Poland, thus ensuring the continuation of family style Takeuchi.

 2. Important significance for the school forming the foundations of its existence are:
 A.    It consists of the fighting styles such as:

 B.    The school adopted the symbols representing the essence of the school such as:
1). Bamboo- (take) - means constancy, disinterestedness, longevity, happiness.
2). Flower of apple tree- the longest cultivated flower by man as the functional plant (from the Neolithic period)- stands for- knowledge, wisdom , initiation, hope, spring – life and at the same time fragility and transience of life, as the flower is a symbol of tribute and honor as well as creating a “Polish Landscape”.
3). Circle - universe, perfection, eternity, sun, dynamics, absolute.
